OUR STORY

My journey in baking began in my grandmother's kitchen, helping her make chocolate chip cookies, thumbprint cookies, and the traditional Jewish treat of mandelbread (similar to biscotti). The first time I decided to really dive in on my own was for my youngest's first birthday.

After watching countless tutorials online, I put together a platter of somewhat messy, pastel-colored cookies. Staff lunches and friends' birthdays provided opportunities to practice my decorating skills.

I created Cookie Nerd Confections with the support of friends and family in the winter of 2020, and have been taking so much joy in creating treats that bring smiles to people's faces!
